AI agent directories
Where legal AI agents and connectors live
AI assistants now have app stores. A Cyprus-law connector listed in them lets a lawyer search judgments from inside ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot. Here is where to look, who runs each directory and how listing works.
| Directory | Run by | What it lists | How tools get in |
|---|---|---|---|
| Claude connectors directory | Anthropic | Reviewed MCP connectors that work across Claude apps. A legal category launched in May 2026. | Vendors submit; Anthropic reviews security and reliability. |
| ChatGPT apps directory | OpenAI | Apps and connectors that run inside ChatGPT conversations. | Developers submit apps with MCP details, test cases and country settings; OpenAI reviews them. |
| Official MCP Registry | Model Context Protocol project | Open catalogue of public MCP servers that other directories build on. | Open publication with namespace verification. |
| GPT Store | OpenAI | Custom GPTs, including community-made "Cyprus law" GPTs. | Anyone with a paid plan can publish. Quality and sources vary widely; check who made it. |
| Microsoft agent store (Copilot) | Microsoft | In-product store of agents for Microsoft 365 Copilot (Agents → All agents), launched May 2025. | Microsoft, partners and organisations publish; IT admins control what staff can install. |
| Smithery | Smithery (independent) | Large community directory and host for MCP servers. | Open submission. |
| Glama MCP directory | Glama (independent) | Searchable MCP server directory with automated checks. | Open submission and indexing. |
| PulseMCP | PulseMCP (independent) | Curated MCP server listings and weekly news. | Open submission. |
What is MCP, in one paragraph?
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets an AI assistant call outside tools. A legal research service that offers an MCP connector can be added to ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot and other assistants once, and the assistant can then search real Cyprus judgments and laws instead of relying on memory.
Cyprus-law tools with a connector today
Of the Cyprus research tools we track, only Menas offers a public MCP connector (https://mcp.menas.ai/mcp). It can look up judgments and legislation from inside an assistant and hand over to Menas for full research. Whether it appears in a given directory depends on the assistant, your country and your plan; it can always be added by hand as a custom connector.
A word on community "Cyprus law" GPTs
The GPT Store contains community-made GPTs about Cyprus law. Some are useful; many have no access to a Cyprus legal database and answer from general knowledge. Before relying on one, check who made it, whether it cites judgments you can open, and whether it says where its sources come from.
